MEET
THE BAND |
The
Cross Roads Project was founded in March, 2009. Since it's conception,
the goal has remained the same. Entertain, and provide people
a night where they can forget their problems at home, and party.
We founded the group with the notion that we needed to also
stay on top of new sounds in country music and provide people
with a sound they hear every day on the radio. There's no question
that CRP balances on a thin line between country and rock, but
that was also the goal when the band decided to move forward.
You won't find CRP at many country venues, but their sets remain
country from start to finish. You'll find them out converting
traditional rock fans into country fans out in venues where
country music wasn't generally accepted. It's a fun entertaining
show and please scroll down and meet the band up close. |

Paul
Cummings |
|
Lead
Vocals |
| |
Paul
is the only member of CRP with a country music background. He
frequents Nashville several times a year to pursue his dream as
a country music entertainer. Paul has devoted his life to three
simple things. Family, his daughter, and his music. Throughout
the years, Paul has written several country tunes and some can
be found on his website. Paul started his music road when he was
very young, playing the saxophone. He continued through school
winnings awards for musicianship and because of his dedication
to the craft. Though he always loved to sing, he didn't really
pursue a singing career until he was in college. He found his
nitch and continues to grow as a singer every year. He has a unique
ability to draw people to the stage and entertain the so called,
"un-entertainable". He credits all of his success to
the musicians he's been playing with and to date considers the
new Cross Roads Project the best group of talent and personality
he has ever been a part of. He is a very influencial member of
the Rochester music community and continues to reach people nationally.

Anthony
Gallucci |
|
Lead
/ Rhythm Guitar |
| |
Anthony
was a founding member of CRP with Paul. From day 1, he set out
his own vision and layed out his plan for not only where he wanted
to be, but where the band should be. He has become the band leader
in many ways and is the main reason the band always moves in a
forward direction. He figures out the logistics, sets up rehearsals
and handles a lot of the bands PR work. Outside that, he has become
a country musician and become dedicated to the bands success.
His skill has a guitarist was at high level when he joined the
band, but now he has started to excel and understand the concepts
of country guitar playing even more, at a much higher level than
before. His role models have always included guys like Stevie
Ray Vaugh, but now he has added guys like Brad Paisley and Keith
Urban to that list. Anthony is a crucial part of CRP and we're
all happy to have had him on board and quite frankly would struggle
if he were not around. Anthony is currently married and has 4
children so his devotion comes with spending time away from his
family, but he always manages to come through for them and for
us. |

Dean
Burdick |
|
Lead
/ Rhythm Guitar - Harmony Vocals |
|
Dean
is another musician with no country music background, what-so-ever.
Dean joined Cross Roads recently and has in turn fallen in love
with country music. His background included playing in bands like
Private Drive and Bar Stars, rock based groups. He met the country
music challenge and ever since has become a phenominal country
guitarist. He brings a more pop, clean sound to the band which
is a perfect matchto Anthony's playing. On top of his guitar playing,
Dean also sings all of Paul's harmony vocals and can even be caught
singing a handful of tunes solo throughout the night. He is one
of the most versatile musicians to ever join into the CRP family
and has improved our sound dramitcally. He has allowed Anthony
to explore the space that never existed before, and it has allowed
himself the chance to showcase his own skills in a new way. We
as a band could not have been happier with the decision he made
to climb on stage with us. |

Dominic
Trinchini (Dom) |
|
Bass
Guitar - Harmony Vocals |
|
|
Dom
is perhaps the most unlikely musician one would expect to be in
a country band and even when he joined, he didn't expect to convert
into this style. He was proven wrong and in turn has fallen in
love with this type of show. Hailing from bands such as Pantara
and East Coast Connection, his skills have had the time to really
develope given the quality of projects he has been involved with.
We were amazed on what he brought to the band. He won't openly
admit it, but Don is one of the best bass players in and around
the Rochester area. He is by far the best full time bass player
the band has seen since it started. His devotion to perfection
makes him a great asset to have when we hit the stage. He reads
into every detail and analyzes sharply what he's doing. On top
of his playing, Dom's personality during rehearsal and during
our live shows is unmatched. He is very entertaining to watch
and you can hear and feel his passion for what he does when he
strums that bass. Again, as a band we are very thankful and blessed
to have Dom as a part of our rythym section. |

Timothy
Britton |
|
Drums |
| |
The
Cross Roads Project has always been blessed with great drummers
but never a drummer that has the whole package like Tim does.
Tim's first gig with CRP came up a week before the show. He learned
30 tunes, did NOT rehearse with the band, and put on a performance
that no other CRP drummer has ever matched. He raised the bar
for the whole band and in turn we had the most solid night we
have ever had. Tim was on the same page as everyone else and the
decision was made to hire him, without any hesitation. Tim brings
years of experience to the table and when he shows up at rehearsal,
it's time to work. He brings ideas, constructive creative critism,
and a vision to make our show the best it can possibly be. Tim
hammers every detail, and hits every fill, and lays down a groove
CRP has never felt before. He has been the missing piece to the
puzzle and we're all thankful he found his way on stage with us.
